Most healthcare companies using our services do so for patient reminders. In some cases, your patients have the option to choose the language in which they wish to receive their reminder. We offer to deliver these messages via voice, SMS and Email if desired.
Objectives
Jordan showing the way to better health through a mobile motivation programme (Mobilt Motivations Program). Well thought-out mobile solutions, changing the behaviour of the target group.
Background
Cavities and gum ailments are primarily caused by bacteria build-up between the teeth. To be able to prevent these types of problems, one must use both a toothbrush and dental floss. Only 20 percent of the population uses both.
Solution
A field study called the Mobilt Motivations Program (MMP) was conducted in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland during the period October 2006 to April 2007 with Jordan using modern technology to encourage young people to use dental floss. Dentists recruited 1,314 persons over the age of 18 for the study. By Day 30 (two days before the field study was concluded), the probability of the programme group's participants using dental floss was three times higher in comparison to the control group's participants. By Day 90, there were still twice as many participants in the programme group who stated that with great probability, they would use dental floss.
Results
"The results show that preventive measures based on psychological theory, and that are communicated via mobile phones, are effective when it comes to increased usage of dental floss among adult users of dental cares services in the four Nordic countries;" says Anne Nordrehaug Åstrøm, professor in dental medicine at the University of Bergen and responsible for evaluation of the project.
The campaign ended in 2010
