Premium offers for GEAB customers
Every year GEAB's customers get a premium card loaded with offers to local events and stores on the beautiful island of Gotland. Reminders of occuring offers is sent as text messages to remind their customers of their offers.
Electronic billing increases
By the end of 2010 GEAB had 3.000 customers registered for automatic billing and the company set as a goal a to raise this number to 7.000 by the end of the year. As of the 1st of March 11.000 customers had already transferred to automatic billing with SMS going out as a reminder. Many customers use LINK Mobile Solutions's SMS Inbox to sign up for this service.
Renew contracts with your mobile phone:
As customer's energy deals are near to expire a SMS is sent with a link to a mobile portal where customers can renew their contract immediately in their mobile phones.
GEAB has a lot of plans for the future, including a complete rewrite of their web. They regard it as an important strategy to expand their mobile solutions as they notice that more and more people use their mobile phone in their communication with GEAB.
