Meet Jordan Nakov, UI/UX designer
Jordan became a part of MarketingPlatform eight years ago and subsequently joined the LINK Mobility team following the acquisition of MarketingPlatform two years ago. Throughout his experience in LINK Mobility, Jordan has been involved in different teams, working with different people and on different products and projects. One of them is to design the overall look and feel of the new myLINK2.0 portal and ensure a seamless, effective, and enjoyable user experience. The second one involves working in the danish Marketing team and working around the MarketingPlatform website, creating video content for social media and product animations.
How did you become interested in joining LINK, and what are the most rewarding aspects of your role?
I have always had an interest in technology, and over the years, I have consistently found myself involved in projects for national mobile operators, mostly related to marketing. The drive for design has always been a part of me, and I'm grateful to channel it towards crafting digital products.
One rewarding aspect is the chance to directly impact the overall user experience and to know that the work we do has an impact on our customer’s daily routines. It is also really gratifying, seeing our designs come to life, starting from wireframe to fully functioning product.
What are you most proud of in being part of the LINK team, and what is your biggest accomplishment?
Contributing to creating designs that enhance the usability and enjoyment of our products and knowing that your work is valued and appreciated by others.
I am passionate about animation. Last year, our team worked on a presentation for the Board of Directors. We were faced with the challenge of finding an engaging and dynamic way to demonstrate how myLINK2.0 will work, its features, and its benefits. Illustrating various use cases through animation and visual storytelling helped understand myLINK2.0's functionality, its values, and how it can solve our customer's problems or meet their needs.
Which value at LINK resonates with you the most?
United. Each member of our team is working from a different country, coming from different cultures and previously working on different products. With unity and alignment towards common goals, we established a process of harmonious collaboration, making us more productive, creative, and supportive. Working cohesively in such an environment sparks enthusiasm and passion for your everyday responsibilities, fostering a genuine enjoyment of your work.
If you were an emoji, what would you be?
😁 - But more as an attitude not just a facial expression!
Who is your biggest inspiration within the Company?
This seems popular among other LINKers, but I will also say the people I work closely with.
Can you tell us a fun fact about you?
Making artisan chocolates. A complex but satisfying process of turning chocolate into handcrafted chocolate confections. I got interested in this 5 years ago, but really got into the various techniques during the pandemic. We had so many lockdowns, so this was a creative activity at home to experiment with design, shapes, and flavors.

Jordan is one of many talented and driven colleagues who make LINK Mobility what it is - a place where people grow, collaborate, and create meaningful customer connections every day. Our Faces of LINK series continues to showcase the people behind our success.
