Meet Joann Alli, Nordic Debt Collection Specialist
For nearly two years, Joann has been an important part of LINK Mobility’s finance operations, working as the Nordic Debt Collection Specialist across Northern Europe. Based in Oslo, Joann combines structure, financial expertise, and strong relationship management skills to support healthy customer partnerships and protect revenue across the Nordic markets.
Creating balance between people, process and performance
Today, Joann is responsible for managing debt collection case tasks and processes across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. Each day starts with reviewing receivables across the region to identify upcoming and overdue invoices before continuing with ongoing debt collection cases, repayment planning, and customer communication.
“There is usually a story behind why payment hasn’t been received, so every case is different. The role requires structure, attention to detail, and independence, but also balance between flexibility and boundaries.”
What brought you to LINK and what keeps you motivated?
Joann was drawn to LINK Mobility because of the opportunity to apply financial knowledge in an international environment with room for both personal and professional growth.
“I valued that LINK is an international company where I could expand my knowledge and continue to grow.”
What continues to stand out most is the collaborative culture and strong sense of teamwork throughout the company.
“If there is something you are struggling with, my colleagues never hesitate to assist and provide help. I’m always motivated to learn more and grow more for the benefit of the company.”
When asked to describe LINK Mobility in one word, the answer came quickly:
“Collaboration!”
What makes the culture at LINK so special?
For Joann, it’s the small routines that create connection and support across teams. One example is the billing team’s regular standup meetings three times each week.
“We discuss our schedules, challenges we’re trying to solve, and assist one another. It’s a nice feeling to share a sense of connection and support.”
Working from the Oslo office also adds an important social aspect to the workday.
“Actually working around colleagues, and of course the snacks and face-to-face chats, is something I really enjoy about the Oslo office.”
One particularly memorable experience happened shortly after joining the company.
“I joined LINK in August 2024 and one week later agreed to join the Poland trip without really knowing anyone yet. It ended up being such a great experience, everyone was so welcoming.”
Beyond the office
Outside of work, Joann enjoys reading, films, and weightlifting, with a disciplined routine that often starts at 6am, four to five times a week.
Beyond her professional life, Joann also has a strong sense of curiosity and reflection shaped by her personal journey.
“I wanted to be a firefighter when I was little! The interesting thing is I ended up doing so during my U.S. Navy military service. So, I guess you can say I crossed that off the dream list.”
When asked about a superpower, Joann highlights her perfectionist mindset:
“I am a perfectionist so if I could, I would time travel to fix my mistakes.”

What advice would you give someone considering joining LINK Mobility?
“More than anything, LINK is a supportive workplace. It’s a great atmosphere filled with trust and excitement to grow and learn.”
