Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

We're seeking a confident and proactive Accounting Manager (m/f/d) with a strong hands-on mentality to join our dynamic and dedicated team at LINK Mobility, Europe's leading provider of mobile messaging. As a vital part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in the financial management of our Swiss business unit, and your ability to present financial information with confidence will be invaluable.

As the Accounting Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our financial operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting transactions

  • Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings

  • Maintaining and reporting on balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other key financial statements

  • Reconciling accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial records

  • Ensuring timely processing of bank payments and financial transactions

  • Computing taxes and preparing tax returns in compliance with regulations

  • Auditing financial transactions and documents to ensure compliance and accuracy

  • Adhering to financial policies and regulations to maintain organizational integrity

  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data to support strategic decision-making

  • Identifying and resolving any financial discrepancies or irregularities

To excel in this role, we're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial management role

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting regulations, principles (GAAP), and best practices

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial management systems

  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills

  • Familiarity with general ledger functions and financial reporting

  • Additional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly desirable

  • Solid understanding of mathematics, accounting, and financial processes
