Objective
Comic-Con Puerto Rico sought a direct communication channel for their attendees that would allow them to access important information on the event day in a simple and automated manner. The goal was to reduce the workload of their staff, enabling them to focus on other tasks and optimize processes.

Real time and guided comunication
To address this challenge, for the second consecutive year, Comic-Con Puerto Rico chose to collaborate with LINK Mobility to integrate a direct and automated communication channel to reduce the volume of inquiries on their website. This time, they selected the WhatsApp Business API, integrating a chatbot named "Con-Bot."
Weeks before the event, attendees could interact with Con-Bot, the virtual assistant that answered various inquiries such as ticket purchases, guest information, and event schedules. Additionally, on the event day, QR codes were placed at various locations within the venue, directing users to a WhatsApp conversation with the bot. These actions facilitated attendee support and assistance. The real-time interaction between the chatbot and the participants provided an excellent experience, leaving attendees satisfied.

By streamlining customer service with the virtual assistant, the staff was able to focus on more complex activities. This positively impacted human capital management and reduced costs associated with automating repetitive tasks. The impact was significant, achieving high satisfaction levels among attendees and benefiting the Comic-Con Puerto Rico organization.

Results
With the help of WhatsApp and chatbots for attendee support, Comic-Con Puerto Rico achieved favorable results. They noted an increase in attendee satisfaction due to the constant availability of Con-Bot. Additionally, they managed to assist a large number of people, providing immediate 24/7 support, and reducing the staff’s workload, allowing them to focus on more specific or challenging tasks. Finally, due to the success of the virtual assistant in such large-scale events, there are plans to replicate this approach for future events and editions of Comic-Con Puerto Rico.
The same strategy is expected to be applied to other large-scale events in the future.
